You know fanaticism doesn't make a great religion either. just because a few muslims are terrorists does not mean islam is a terrorist faith.

Semetic religions hold themselves as true and ask its followers to exterminate those who dont belong to their faith. This is there in the bible and the Koran. If you shut your eyes to the fact it wont go away.

How different are you from fanatic muslims and christians if you insist that hinduism is the only religion?
If Babar stooped to a low level in breaking temples, you do not have to stoop to an even lower level breaking mosques.

If some religion is peaceful and better than the others no harm in saying so.There is no need to ashamed of a superior product.Slavery and untouchablility have existed in all societies and not just Indian , so if you remove that common factor hinduism emerges undoubtedly superior.
And since mosques are places where Koran is taught which preaches hatred to other religions and incites trouble , taking action against them is only an act of SELF DEFENCE.

Tales of Tennalirama
Cauterization of Brahmans
When the mother of the Rayar was about to die, she wanted a mango fruit to eat, but before it was brought she expired. The Rayar was very sorry that he was not able to fulfil the last wishes of his mother, and sending for some Brahmans he said to them:- "My mother set her heart on a mango fruit but died before it was given her. By what means can I appease her soul? To this, they replied:- "If you make mango fruits of gold and present them as gifts to Brahmans on the occasion of the annual ceremony of your mother her soul will be pacified." The Rayar believed it and made the gifts accordingly. Next day Tennalirama invited to his house all those Brahmans who had received such gifts saying that the annual ceremony of his mother was taking place in his house. There he heated the handle of an iron ladle and cauterized each guest in two places. They all went away weeping and reported the matter to the Rayar. The Rayar sent for Tennalirama and said:- "Why did you do this outrageous act?" He said: "My mother in her last moments was suffering from convulsions in her hands and feet. Cauterizing was recommended. But before the hot handle of the iron ladle could be brought she expired. To appease her soul, I acted in this manner." On hearing this explanation the Rayar laughed long and loud.

krishnadevaraya's vijayanagar empire was at its peak the most famous kingdom in the entire world.a foreigner(european )who visited the kingdom says that the capital city was much much more beautiful than even rome ,paris or london.he says that every product made by a human can be baught in its markets at a cheap rate.every kind of jewel was available.krishnadevaraya was reasponsible for the emergence of periyar.krishna deva raya sent his kannada generals called nayaks to various parts of his conquered territory.in tamilnadu they have occupied even madurai ,pudukottai and tirunelveli.these people survive even today as naicker caste of tamilnadu.the e.v.ramaswamy naicker's ideology was shaped by the land of his birth.thus periyar would not have started the dk movement if his ancestors had not been sent to tamilnadu.this comes as no surprise.whereas in samskrit there are some atheistic works, only in ancient tamil there were no atheistic works.atheism is not natural to a tamil who has been part of this land for atleast a 1000 years.such is the spirtuality in a land where agatsya meditates even today.

K.D.Raya sent mainly Telugus to TamilNadu not Kannadigas. I too a telugu nayak living in TN. I have read sufficient number of times to believe that most of the Nayakars living in TamilNadu are basically from Bellary which was under k.D.Raya empire and may be few kannadigas. Kannadigas who came with Telugus are called as Vokaligas not Naickers.

Krishnadeva raya was not a Telugu per se. He was a Kannada king who was well versed in Telugu. His origins might be from Tulu speaking Karnataka since he belonged to the Tuluva Dynasty.
He himself acknowledges that he is a Kannada in his book Amuktamalyada.

The point is Periyar was a Kannadiga. How did he come to TN if Krishna Deva Raya had not sent him ? Kannadigas are not known to travel. They visit neighbouring house once in a lifetime and it is celebrated as a great victory if he comes back home without getting lost.
