It is very shame to know that, the historical
places where our freedom fighters were lived are forgotten now by the people and by the Govt. In Tamil Nadu lot of historical places like Panchalamkurichi, Ettayapuram, Ottapidaaram, Padmanabapuram, Kayatharu, Maniyachi...etc. are there to see. But these places are not maintained properly by the Govt. and by the public. For an example, the Palace where Subramanya Bharathi was there as a poet is now looking like a Ghost House.
Without any maintenance, modification, butification no touristers will visit these places.
We should be able to teach the history of Tamil Nadu and Tamil freedom fighters to the younger generation throughout the world. For that, these
historical places must be maintened in a good shape.
Some suggessions:
1. Tamil Film Producers who spent crores of Rupees for constructing sets for shooting a song or a scene for their film can spend the same amount on the historical places and use it by reconstruct, maintain and beutify any particular historical locations like Ettayapuram Aranmanai, Bharathiyaar House, Ottapidaaram V.O.C house, PanjaalamKurichchi Palaces, Vanchi Maniyaachi
locations, Padmanabapuram palace...etc. Ofcourse Govt. permission is needed for that.
2. Very rich business people should spent some amount and maintain some places
3. Political leaders and the Govt. must do some thing to these places ( Thanks to Kalaingar and MGR they did something for this).
4. Publics of that particular places and visitores also have the responsibility to take care of these places by keep cleaning the sorroundings.

Now one Lady Hitler called Jayalalitha is destroying the Historical places of Tamil Nadu.
For example:
* She demolished the Kannagi Statue.
* Going to demolish Queen's Mary's College.
* Converting Valluvar Kottam's first floor into Dark open toilet.
....etc.
This Hitler-Kannad Lady will definitely get punishment soon from the God.

Thailand's Ayuthya (a world heritage city) too has many idols of Parshawanath and other Thirthankars in broken form with cut hands.It seems Jainism was very popular than Hinduism till 10th A.D.
