Dear Ms Kurup keralite, thanx for ur appreciation on our tamil language and culture.but dont defend ur language as smarter and individual.there is no indegenious word in malayalam all the words in ur language are taken from either tamil or the dead language sanskrit.so when u praise ur language u r indirectly praising our tamil and the dead language.the dead is always dead.dont u people have enough knowledge to device a own language for u? or atleast accept that u r from such a bad society where the practice of sending one's wife to the brahmin for the first 10 days.these all are in the history.i dont exaggerate anything.

Malayalam is simply a dialect from Thamizh. The nambooris made it more sanskirit and made it worse by bringing in the aryan script writing and avoiding Thamizh alphabets. Kurup Keralite, I don't know how well you know politic, I'm not a master in it btw. However you should know that being foe to fellow Thamizhans will not do any good to Malayalese, interm of geography, so called "Kerala" shares most of it's border with Thamizh Nadu (TN)...when TN divides (It will), you'll get along with Thamizhans, if you won't, you'll learn to :D. Think about it bro and beside when TN divide from (H)Indians domination there will be a good reason for Malayalese to join TN sooner or later.

Nirosha, hello.
I hope you are reading this.
I am Nedunchezhiyan and I am Irumporai. Having a government with powers like building schools and roads inside the 'state' isn't how democracy work. Voting rights? Do you know that (H)India's parliment has 40% hindi speaking people? Do you think these people will let non-hindi speaking people to have a good life or a good power? I thought sanskirit was the classical language..but I also found out Persian and Arabic are in (H)India. If Thamizhans are considered to be part of so called (H)India then why didn't this (H)India show more attention to bringing in Linguistics around the World to conduct some research to find out if Thamizh can be classified as a classical language or not?

You also said this.
---"Why are you so anti-Hindi anyway? What's the harm in people learning an extra language while they preserve the sanctity and sovereignty of the mother tongue?"---
Like Arijar Annathurai said, "If Hindi is made official and as the first language, then non-hindi speaking people will be second level citizen." Arijar Anna also said that although the population of the Dogs are way higher than of the Tiger (which is an endangered specie), the (H)Indian government made Tiger as the national Animal.

You see, I pointed out the quote above to say that why can't Hindi speaking people learn Thamizh? Because their population is higher than Thamizh speaking? Well then why don't you let Thamizhans go spearately? Lot of states suffer but their language isn't any better compared to Hindi. However even Hindi's mother Sanskirit wouldn't come close to Thamizh! Looting Thamizh Tax money and other Wealth into the Hindi speaking states to make them wealthier, while Thamizhans beg for water and all these. The suprising thing is that you don't know about these and you talk as If I'm a racist. Yes I am a Racist because My community, "Thamizh" Community has been put down in many ways! Living example is in so called Indian Union or known as (H)India and then in so called Sri Lanka. Maybe you'll find some intersting articles regarding the hatred against Hindi and Thamizhan issues on Thamizh Tribune website (just type Thamizh Tribune on www.google.com)

The Government of (H)India had a Sanskirit Year, it's convering all ppl into becoming as 'Hindi.' Why should we? How is it different from learning English? Would you say yes and learn Thamizh? Nevermind that, the Hindians wouldn't want (H)India to announce a Thamizh Year. Infact as the Thamizh Tribune showed, even the Thamizh Poet "Thiruvalluvar" Statue opening wasn't allowed to broadcast on the (H)Indian National Channel for many reasons like outsiders realizing about Thamizhans who are shadowed by so called cheap "Indian" Nationality. Thamizhans never begged and cried for water when they had their own country, now they do. The TN Thamizhans beg to the Central government of (H)India and to the Kannadars who refuse to give...if it was UP not getting water from Karnataka for instance, you think Central Government would stay numb like this? That's the effect of 40% Hindi speaking MPs and 6% or less Thamizh MPs.

Thamizh Nadu is the breath and soul of Thamizh and Thamizhans, without it we won't be able to say we are Thamizhans. I thank to Thanjai Nalangkilli for saying about "Elephant" in Thamizh Tribune, where he says, " An Elephant, when caught and tied to a strong tree with a big chain, it will try to get away, but it won't be able to, hence it doesn't try and thus they tie it with little chain and bring it to the Circus." We Thamizhans aren't like an Elephant! Thamizh Nadu Independance is important and has far more affect on Thamizh community in general and important as the Thamizheezham Independance. Too many people have sacrificed their life in Thamizheezham and in Thamizh Nadu (TN) to protect the Thamizh community. Pon. Sivakumaran said,
"My soul for Thamizh, My body for this Soil"

I'm good RC, I'm tired of Thamizhan being low to everyone. Talking here will do nothing, that's why I don't roam the forum beside other things. How are you? Hope you are fine bro. See ya.

Boy, Mr Nedu you are indeed a passionate human being about race and land!! I'm humbled by the knowledge and love you have for the Land of Tamil. I'm a faraway Tamilian myself and I share your angst.
You maynot believe it, but in the last trip I took to India, I broke down when I saw how dry it was compared to its neighbouring states. Good, hardworking people who could not enjoy the fruits of God's miracles - Water. You have your politics in India and we have our problems in M'sia. At least we come here to commiserate if nothing else. Doesn't matter where you live - one has to eke out a living,so I understand!

Ya, Nirosha, Thamizhans are being looted in front of their eyes. Though I must accept they easily become pariotic and fanatic and it's hard to get rid of that. I wish that they stayed patriotic as Thamizhans :(. Anyway see ya.
nanri, ,vannakam.
