Even if there are diffrent casts, diffrent many be the slang,diffrent area ,...may be in tamil nadu,srilanka,sigapore,malasiya figi or canada..as Tamils we should be one.Our culture should be same..Respect ourselfs and make others respect us...

  even in SCs and STs in TN they look the same as the other common people or castes like pillais.
  The indian constitution is erraneous/corrupted in categorizing castes etc. Actually all other castes other than brahmins are indifferent, according to me.
  I honesty dont know about the north, but in south this is the case.
  
  what features u find different? Absolutely nothing except the skin color. Not all fair people look like hrithik roshan or pierce brosnan. hehe

  it has been proved by researchers that the so called dark people also have their genes resembling mediterranean people.
  It depends on careful selection of samples(people) to conduct genetic tests. If i were the guy to test these specimens, i will easily pick few from the so called fair chinese some from fair persians, and i will do the same exact thing to the darker people too.

  NO davie u miss understand me , what im trying to say in South Indians ppl , is that there are not one South Indian race we are not all the same , Dravids have caucasians features , iread in this article ok . Dalits , Adivasis , And Aborigiansl have different features , which resembles closer to the Aboriginees of Aiutralia . As i said Skin Color has got nothing to do with race . A Dalit and A Dravid cud be the same color but look at the fetures , And Also Dravid genes diff ,their skull shape , they have long and sharp nose and a long head . Aborinals of India in the otherhand have real shoet nose , they are usually very dark , their face is more round .

  Hey Dravid boy,
  the current dark but mediterranean looking dravid poeople of today are not pure man. They were not pure from day one.
  But if u look at it there were bronze complexioned caucasian people(old day sumerian Nimrod like guys) who interbred with the aboriginies of india and that is who we have today.Why Iam sayin this is coz dravidians were mingling with the aboriginies and that is why u have this jet black people with caucasoid phenotype in india.

  just because a group of people settle before 10000 years, can we call them aborigines?
  in india new intrusions and settlements were constantly taking place atleast at 5000 yrs gap.
  Those stub nosed dark people i think are stub nosed chinese race people who got tanned just because of settling quite longer.

  i also have the tendency to say that so called mediterranean people also came at the same time period (of chinese settlers) and even they got dark.
  brown skin is those of intermediate settlers.
  I also give a summary that all indians white and blaks are both of chinese and indian races.

  From my experience and having looked at people from few different geographic zones. People who live close to equator or hot / humid zones have wide nose and people who live in cold regions or less humid region have long and thin nose. May be I am wrong....

  the worst case for indians is gona be those chinese race.
  otherwise most of us are mediterranean race only.

  As long as people in this forum talk bad and curse each other there is no possibility of Tamil being one .... there is really a small number of educated guys who come to this forum ... but if you still look at the language and words used .... real tamil people are ashamed to tell they belong to this very group ... Even though things that are being discussed in the forum are not serious, this forum reflects what we are and what type of people we are. People who come here see the nature of people over here and tend to think all tamil people belong to this category, which is not true. This forum totally misleads the information about tamil community. Democracy without law is useless ... just because you have freedom of speach you can't talk ill about others.   It is really a shame this forum is being dominated not by intellectuals but by individuals who can type anything without fear or shame. Nice topics in this forum are diverted from the core subject by some useless fights between some arrogent individuals who doesn't want to prove their point with facts but with fight. The core subject is forgotten as the thread becomes longer with more and more fights and abuses. Can't we stop this ...why isn't the owner of this forum doing this ... it is not helping the tamil culture ... it is bringing shame on our culture.

To err is human ...isn't our duty to correct the mistake of our fore fathers ....... if they have created some ... lets us not scream about it .. but correct our mistakes and prove the world that this culture has vast history and great future.

  If pest are the problem, can we find a way to weed them out. Good people should having foresight and proactive thinking should come to this forum to discuss potential problems haunting our culture. We made one mistake by letting out the current politicians on rampage ... they brought shame to us. Do we have to make this same mistake here???   Tony: I am not a Dr but I am a Tamilan in Heart and soul. Why would we allow some one to take away our culture and impose something on us. The people who don't fit in this forum are the people who use 4 ltr word not us. This forum belongs to Tamil and we shouldnt give up. As I said Tamils are clutured but daring. If it is time to remove the pests we will do it, we will not give up our culture and let the pests take control as we have done in past. Should we repeate the same mistake our fore fathers did.
