In the recent years the dravidar kazhalagam had almost become extinct in urban areas and with few
pockets in rural areas,It also become non functional in many areas.tamil youth of this generation are not joining the dravidar kazhagam
they are joining it arch rival Hindu munnani,indeed in the last few years hindu munnani had made deep inroads in almost all the urban area and making slow progress in rural areas, what may be the reason for the fall of DK and rise of hindu munnani
