  When anyone compares Shri lanka,I do not think he can state only a particular section of Tamil speakers are the people having connection to the Tamil speakers in Tamilnadu. One should bear in mind that Tamil is only a language and there was no such a thing as a tamil state in the whole history.There was no such a thing as a common religion among Tamils.
  
  But in case of Singhela it is always a hierarchical, irrigation based serf owning state as well as a Ela prakrit language based system of living first according to a type of Vedism and later according to form of land owning Buddhist clergy collaborating with a ruling group observing lay traditions of Vedism.
  
  It is these Vedic traditions which made Singhelas to cooperate with traditional south indian kingdoms.
  THE MAIN THING IS THE APPEARANCEs OF COMMUNITIES ASSOCIATED WITH TRADITIONAL KINGDOMS IN THE SOUTH INDIA AND SHRI LANKA ARE BOTH ETHNOGRAPHICALLY MEDITERRANIAN THE EXCEPTION IS THE MAJORITY OF JAFFNA PEOPLE EXCEPT MADAPALLIS.
  
  EVEN ARCHAEOLOGICALLY EARLY IRON AGE IN SHRI LANKA AND THE SOUTH INDIA STARTED IN COMMMON WITH ANURADHAPURA BEING THE FOCAL POINT AS WELLAS LARGEST CITY SOUTH OF UJJAIN THE CAPITAL OF AVANTHI KINGDOM IN INDIA.
  
  So I think it is fruitless for tamil speakers to think about a group of mainly recent migrants from western parts of Bhratha who are incidentally and definitely most educated lot in Tamilnadu.But to assimilate them as a part of a nationality Tamils should have basic requirements of a nationality which they do not have.
  But mind you Ancient Singhelese kingdom had it and present Shri lanka also gives a passport with Sri lanka even today.

  No the younger generation is going to fare better than the older generation. I am a part of the younger generation. I and many many other young aduls of India wish for a brighter future. We are more vigourous, we are more passionate and more united and more open minded. You think vajpayee and Fernandes are going to be around when India is going to be a first world countryin 2020 or 2050 ...no ...it will be us .....hindu hardliners ...islamic fundamentalists and linguistic fanatics like yourselves will be ALMOST extinct .........and we will go all the way together ......

  You don't have any. So i suggest you shut up and don't give people false ideas. My grandfather was a freedom fighter and so was my great grand father and his relatives. We fought in the south and in the north and so has many Tamils, mallus, kannadigas and telungus. They went up north and fought. The very fewq that showed up fought with the north indians and we won together.
