Hi Guys,
I am a Konar caste( Yadava),Tamil now settled in United States. I was surprised to find a site called www.konar.com . This site is from a group of people from Turkey who call themselves as Konars'. These people are looking for the origin of their community. Is there a link between these Konars and the tamilians?. Also i wanted some links of Konars in the ancient Tamil literature.

  its nice and fine to recollect your association with caste. But does not christianity abhor caste discrimination. Please propagate inter-religious, inter-caste relationship among tamils to foster a casteless society, in addition to praising konars.

  I just came across this site while looking for something very close to what this forum seems to be discussing - and I couldn't resist to become a part of it :)
  Well guys, I belong to the Lababeen community (also called Lubbays), but so little is known about this community (atleast to me) except that it originated in Tamil Nadu, and that it had some arab influence on it.
  I really wish to know my roots and enlighten my brethren about the same.

  yadu the word can be finded in bhagavat gita also lord krishna is also called as yadava

  why u r searching for ur people. u see mother terisa is not konar and not even indian . but she lived for indian poors and needy peole . then why indians are looking for their own community and theire own people. one konar is settled at us another one settled at turkey then why u bothered about konar and krishna.pl unite in human love.
