Hi! Iam Siva from Germany!Iam very interested in Tamil History!
Can one of these friends answer me my question???
Why are the most histories of tamil kings not famous in the whole world???????
Our old kings have captured so many lands but our kings and our histories, even the foreigners dont know what TAMIL is!!!!!! What is the REASON??????

  It has nothing to do with IQ. Intelligent people are duped often by others. Look how Enron executives duped millions of people, regualtors, etc. Brahmin "conmen" operated for thousands of years like this. When people trust other people, they don't always look for hidden motives. Brahmins always operated with hidden motives while showing extreme contempt for Tamil society.

  Internet is the place where even dogs can write something, thats why this kind of unwarranted arguments like who is smart brahmin or non-brahmin are going on in this forum. I would say, dumbs as well as smarts as exists in both the communities. This all based on gene, family environment and the support that the person getting from his or her childhood to till death. As Vishnu rightly pointed out, the discussion started to know Why tamil kings (even Tamil language also) are not known outside world thouugh superior in all aspects ( I would say similar to Roman kings). I'm very much interested to know all you guys opinions on this. I had this question in my mind for long time.   this is avery interesting topic.
  
  though i`m not very good in History, from the materials i`ve read, i understand inspite of having such a rich culture and knowledge, the Tamil kings did not spend time and effort in spreading their culture to other parts apart fro their territorial domain, and when they were colonised by muslims kings or others, the people adopted the new religion and culture very easily due to survival. Except for the 3kings who done great constructions, others do not get recognised much.
  
  In contra if u see jesus disciples or buddhas have travelled far and wide to spread the religion, though buddhisim originated in India, there is a considerable no. of Buddhist live outside India.

  i) caste in ancient india was based on character rather than color or birth. eg) thieves were assumed lowest caste
  ii) dark people and non brahmins ruled india especially the south infact they constituted many brahmins. So there is no doubt that dark brahmins who are present today were existing even before a 2000 years as brahmins.
  iii) dravidian kings ruled south india
  iv) All indians are invaders at one period or the other. The list includes aryans and dravidians.

  Can any one of you is capable to see that the 5th descendants from you will not be cleaning the toilets of the other communities? There are many examples that many people are adopted by the families and they can't prove themselves to have pure family blood line. If you look in the back know one will be able to prove that he is from Good or bad family. Love matters gave birth to many kid which were thrown to the river then that proves that he was 'Karna'( The famous example from Mahabharata'. So don't go in detail and please do not throw mud at each other. You may be of a very high origin!

  Not all brahmins are light skinned. Even the i refuse to relate all light skinned people to medeterranean/caucasian etc, coz even in mauris we find that most of the people have light skin.
  
  and dark is the color due to skin, if light skineed people are european,there are dark skinned people who are of also european.
