The police in India are real thugs. If a leader like MU.KA can be manhandled like this, then one can imagine the plight of innocent powerless people. WHeter these IPS and IAS trainig centers offer any professional training or offer Porukkithanam? Before dismissing the state govt., arrest all the porukki police offcials...

  What Career means for these educated s c oundrels...? All their career is full of hundreds of petty theives
  hanged in the roofs of prison cells. All their job is full of saluting the rich and powerful collecting donations,
  and bribery through uneducated inspetors and constables. All their bravery is nothing but torturing and killing
  politically conscious youths. All their authority is nothing but issuing orders for tea and vadais to boneless
  constables and using govt. vehilcles for private use. Even if they are fired these

  Chennai, July 5: All the officials involved in the arrest of Karunanidhi will be transferred
  in the next couple of days, sources say.
  
  This follows the Central Government's unrelenting pressure on the State government to
  take action against the officials who had "misbehaved" with Karunanidhi, Murasoli Maran
  and T.R. Baalu. Their transfers are part of a damage-control exercise to placate the
  Centre.
  
  The Damocles sword now hangs over the head of CB-CID DIG Mohammad Ali, Deputy
  Commissioners Sarangan, Christopher Nelson, Prabhakaran, Abash Kumar and
  Shanmugarajeswaran, Assistant Commissioners Murugesan and N. Padmanabhan, who is
  also the investigating officer in the flyover case and Chennai Corporation Commissioner
  Acharyalu.
  
  Though City Police Commissioner K. Muthukaruppan also figures in the list, his transfer will
  be delayed by a week or two to avoid embarrassment for AIADMK as his posting was
  itself a highly politicised one.
  
  Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa is learnt to have discussed the matter at length with Chief
  Secretary P. Shankar and DGP A. Raveendranath. Hence the decision is expected shortly,
  it is learnt. However, police sources declined to confirm the reports.

  Madurai, July 12: The people of Enathu village, near
  Poovanthi, in Sivaganga district, blocked vehicular
  traffic after a woman reportedly died of shock on
  hearing the “abusive language” of policemen, who
  came in search of her husband last evening.
  
  Police said two police officials had gone to the
  woman’s house in search of her husband in
  connection with a Protection of Civil Rights case.
  Though he was not there, they reportedly threatened
  his wife with abusive language. The woman, shocked
  at their behaviour, fainted and died.
  
  As news about the woman’s death spread, villagers
  blocked vehicular traffic on the Sivaganga Road last
  evening, demanding that action be taken against the
  two policemen.
  
  They dispersed only after top police and revenue
  officials rushed to the spot and assured them that a
  solatium would be given to the woman’s family and
  that action would be taken against the police

  The news reel regarding the DMK chief's arrest, produced by Jayalalitha Govt. for Tamil Nadu Film Division and which is to be shown in all the Cinema Theatres in TN as a news reel could not get Censor certification. Because they have malpracticed the real things happened during DMK chief and two union minister's arrest.

  There is nothing wrong in Law taking action against Karunanidhi. What is wrong in arresting Karunanidhi. Is he above law of the land?. If he feels he is innocent, let prove it in the court. Did not Jayalalitha was calm when she was arrested?. Did she make any hue and cry?. Though she was a woman and brought up with silverspoon, she was quite and calm. Karunanidhi claims himself to be the first person to treat both Jail Office as Same, Why the hell he must make all this Drama?. It rediculous on the part of Karunanidhi to cry and shout for the mere arrest. Now it is 100 percent true that Karunanidhi would have left from the public life , had he been trated like what he did to Jayalalitha. It shows his Cowardice to the reality. First he claimed that police barged in to his room by breaking the door and subsequently said he was beaten up. But if we go through the video, the Police officials maintained utmost Dignity during the arrest but Maran & co wanted to make political gain out of this episode by indulging false probaganda. How could two union ministers behave like a sub-human before the law enforcing officials ?. Who gave them the Right to attack Police men in duty ?. Does this not amount to the criminal action against them?. Who did Behave like PORUKKIS ?. Is it DGP office or Two Union Ministers Maran and balu? For this petty episode if the Elected Govt has to be dismissed, then the last term of Karunanidhi would come to an end in the begining itself. No one is above law and one who did evil things should reap the Consequences also.

  Yes, there is nothing wrong in Arresting karunanidhi. It is perfectly legal. The Supreme court was not able to prove Jaya guilty. This proves that she is not guilty. It is the same supreme court which ruled in favour of the moslems for Ram Janma Bhoomi. I do not see why the DMK should argue with the supreme court desicion on Jaya.

  Do not blame IPS ansd IAQS Schools. The DMK and ADMK Governments opted out of taking graduates of these training schools as there were not enough backwards anmong them. As per mandal commission only 50% of the trainees are backward and T.N. wanted 100%. So the T.N. Government nominated IPS and IAS. Very few of these are college graduates and most of these are related to ministers and Dravidian VIPs. Muthukumarrappan and Md. Ali could not get through High school exams let alone IAS. The backwards in thsi forum are now accusing the training schools for these nominated officials. That is known as backward logic. A good subject fot Tamil Ninja to write.
