I am a fourth generation Tamil Christian. I am trying to find out any information regarding Church history in Tamil Nadu.

  1.many churches are built in last century only.
  2.vellankanni church,poondi are famous where hindus also come.
  3.in chennai lot of old churches are there.
  4. u can see st thomas church,beasent nagar in chennai which must be very old
  4.benthecosthe alleluya group is constructing lot of churches all over TN.

  Some people say (mainly christians ) say Jesus served & worked for poor. Look what he had said...
  
  How did Jesus say a slave should treat his master?
  A slave must completely obey and fear his master, even if his master is cruel and unjust “Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward" (1 Peter 2:18).
  
  "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ" (Ephesians 6:5).

  It seems like these deficiencies are deliberately inflicted on some people by God.
  
  Look at what GOD say about this in Bible (holy Book ?) "And the Lord said unto [Moses], Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord ?" (Exodus 4:11).
  
  "And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season" (Luke 1:20).

  It's all about believes. So you are 4th Generation Christian intersting tell me ur name is it a Christian name if yes why do u name as chrisitan when u have a Tamil Name listen man our Religion came after our culture and our Language came. We aren't like those guys who have their language born after the religion. Name u as Tamil. If you already have a Thamizhl name sry about saying this and I would be happy not only me every Tamils would be happy. If your bible say not to name any Tamil Name. Then don't do it.   From my own opinion i can probably say that Jesus was almost like Thiruvaluvar. He gave advice then it came as a religion when ppl followed him. We can make Thiruvaluvar as God too. Maybe who know he was a good Human. You should know that Thirukural is way better than Bible and one day Europeans or other part of the world say oh it's our Book and we wrote it or their religion will say. When will they understand the true Humanity. If Jesus was a god why'd he make religion. If everything in ur bible true we'll see that this century because in ur bible where it said the world going to be destroyed during year 2000! The same Bible say that he'll come back during this century but where is he? We'll see if he was a GOD maybe they called him GOD because he had all the things that u need to be GOD. I don't want to talk about Religions and I don't like to talk anyway. Just playing around. Don't get confused but it's all our believes and I really hate ppl who go to other doors and knock and recruit to their religion really if i become as King i would kill them at that place and u should know this happen in Christian religion. Do u know how ur GREAT great Grand father/mother joined the religion that u are because of the Education and the money they gave i can be sure about that. I hate what they do and I will never forget what they did to my country and to my ppl. If i ever get a chance i'll payback them.

  Ans: About 5000 years ago. First pair was called Adam & Eve. They joined (u know what I mean) & multiplied, multiplied, multiplied, multiplied, multiplied and created many HUMAN races like Whites, BLACKs, yellow's, brown's etc. So all all human are from same origin. What is the proof ? BIBLE say's....HA...HA..HA.
  
  Q2. But Science says world has been created millions & millions of years ago...
  
  Ans : Don't beleive in Science and scientist. They are fools. Only Moses is an Intelligent Guy bcoz he found that GOD created this world in 7 days. All the stories about dinosars etc are hollywood graphics. There was a guy called Galileo. He was a lunatic and said the earth is round. He was punished by our GREAT CHURCH for his sin. SO DONT BELEIVE IN SCIENCE. Then we have to punish you too. Sorry.
  
  Q3. Where is Heaven ? what is heaven ? How can I go to heaven ?
  
  Ans : Good question. (smile) Heaven is the place where only CHRISTIANs can live after death. It is in the sky somewhere. It is easy , simple...become a christian. It doesn't matter what you did (even if u have abused kids, raped), or what u are going to do...you are guaranted to go to heaven. HOW IS IT ? (Superrrrrrrrr)

  Ans: Haven't you heard anything about hell.
  
  Q5. Some people are telling that JESUS is coming back next year. What if he does not come next year?
  
  Ans. Don't ask stupid questions. You have to believe whatever I said. Dont use your brain. If he doesn't come next year means ...wait for one more year. Probably he might be busy. Who knows...Hey you know what ...we have been waiting for 2002 years. (smile)

  Heaven is the place where there is eternal joy, peace and happiness and where you can live in the presence of GOD. If you beleive that Jesus is the son of God and LORD, that HE died for your sins on the cross and repent for your sins, turn back from sinful life and live a holy acceptable life, you can reach heaven
  
  Q4. Then where our HINDU, JEWISH, MUSLIM (etc. etc.) friends go after death.
  
  Relegion doesnot matter. The one who has the son of God has eternal life. Others don't have that.
  
  Q5. Some people are telling that JESUS is coming back next year. What if he does not come next year?
  
  Bible doesnot say that He comes next year. There are signs that have been mentioned. But never a date. As per the prophecies, the things that Jesus mentioned would happen in the last days are happening. But this is just a beginning only. Those who say they know date are making themselves fools as no one knows the time other than GOD.
  Q6. Sir I have more questions...
