I never knew that there were paintings on palm leaf manuscripts http://www.olywa.net/ratna-david/palmleaf.htm

Many families in Tamilnadu hold palm leaf manuscripts and most of them are probably rotting away. Is there any process in place in TN to perhaps advertise in various places and get these manuscripts from the individuals holding them?
