I knew lot of tamils in Malaysia, Singapore speak tamil at home. Is that the case with S.Africans/Maurutians too? Do they see Tamil movies? Just very curious

  Vanakkam Anton, We have a lot of Temples in South Africa and their are quite a few temples that teach Tamil to children and Adults. They also offer music classes and Dancing. You can have a look at the website www.tamil.co.za. This is a South African Tamil website.

  You may read elaborately about the Tamils living in Mauritius, Fiji, South Africa, Seychelles, Reunion and Carribbean countries in some books published by Tamil University, Thanjavur or Ulaga Thamizh Aaraaichi Niruvanam, Tharamani(Chennai).
  You can read about the history of the Tamils migration to those countries, present staus of Tamil language etc. from books like Tamils in non Asian countries(English) by Nagarajan, Ayal Nadugalil Thamizhargal(Tamil) by Nagarajan etc.

  Imagine how hard a person would have worked to find the world's largest known prime number which is 6,320,430 digits long.
  Believe me it is a tougher job than that to make a list of ALL the castes and sub-castes in India. I doubt if anyone could ever make a comprehensive list on all the subcastes in india...

  Those persons just argue that the skin color of african and india guys are the same and so they belong to the same race. haha
