pallars(mallars) known as devendra kula vellalars, are hindus and dont eat beef, not doing any menial job except agri and some weaving(vathiri pallars).warriors till 1800(Kattabomman).killed 300 mukkulathors during south clashes in1991-1996.parayas are humiliated by pallars.joing hands with vanniyars(PALLIS &PALLARS).

  Dear aSR, As vanniya kula kshatriyas , WE ACAN ALSO BE CALLED DEVENDRA KULA KSHATRIYAR. But here the hitch is the word "kshatriya ' is not a tamil word. More over we not only warriors but also expert in agriculture/cultivation[velanmai].Yes it is debatable.

  The people whoever believe that devendra kula vellalars were rulers of tamilnadu and warrior in nature should request the central/state govt to exclude pallar/devendra kulathar from sc list and include in mbc list.

  why not as forwards? why as mbc? you guys r digging ur own grave. tell me honestly,how many of u would have studied if governments did not help u with SC reservation, fee waiver, free hostels, etc.,? if you want to have the best of both the worlds, ask for ST status.

  asr. well this is the fact.
  many of the bcs scs etc go through in the general category. but the remaining scs make it up in the sc category.
  
  its all good.
  Most of the general category is dominated by BCS leaving FCS just one or two seats out of a thousand seats.

  I do understand the scars of SC stamp. You are wanting to become MBC only because the current meaning. This has a basic flaw. If Nadars are respected today, it is because they have worked hard in business and have become financially the wealthiest community today. Otherwise, with all respect to their professions, is Vannar and Ambattar treated with same respect as Kallars even though both are MBCs? Hence any amount of invented past royalty will not help if you continue to be poor.

  Mr.Dev , Greetings. Iam just researching on the theory of Devendra kula vellalars being Cholars.As u know we were farmers from the old time. Further vellalar claims that they were descentdants of the later chola dynasty might be true(I've seen the prescent cholar family and they have resemblances with vellalars) . But as we were mallars and so we could have been cholars before them.I would be glad if u can provide some info on this Mr.Dev.
