UNESCO or UN may disappear within next 100 years.
But Tamil will live for ever.

When people like Milton and their christian coterie disappear from the earth, there will be peace on earth.
Christianity and Islam are a religion of savages, by savages and for savages and pedophiles.

Mr. Karuvayan,
This thread is about Tamil not about Hinduism. Although Tamil and Hindusim are intertwined, but majority of Hindu Tamils will not buy your arguments about christian Tamils. Srilankan Tamils are pre dominantly Hindus but none of us will agree with your view about christian Tamils. Then ARE WE NOT HINDUS?
"They are very much concerned with the maintenance and fostering of their cultural identity as Sri Lankan Tamils and are keen in transmitting their traditions to their younger generation wherever they live.
A major feature of the feeling of oneness of this community is that it cuts across religious barriers. In the contemporary psyche of this society a Christian Sri Lankan Tamil is as important an inheritor of Tamil culture as a Hindu Tamil. More importantly this feeling of being Sri Lankan Tamil does not arise from any notion of classical cultural heritage coming top down but a consciousness that grows from within and arises from a shared tradition of life".

When hinduism was losing its importance among people, there were nayanars and alwars who made people understand its worth and also nurtured tamil by singing hymns and poems. May be we need people like them to help tamil to live long. (But they will have to starr in a mega serial for people to have interest in them)
