Canada puts Sri Lankan rebels on terrorist list


COLOMBO, Nov. 9 — Sri Lanka's Tamil Tiger rebels have been listed as a terrorist organisation by Canada, the Canadian diplomatic mission in Sri Lanka said on Friday.

The Sri Lankan government says Canada is the largest source of funds for the rebels' 18-year separatist campaign in which some 64,000 people have been killed.

  Mr. U... What are you talking about?... Are you talking about the war in Eelam or the newly created problems in Canada? I know that Tamil youths are destroying the lifes of the Tamils, but don't try to justify the killings done by Sinhala terrorists...

  Western authorities should be impartial... They should listen to the voice of the "TERRORISTS"... But they were not impartial... They had no interest in Eelam War... and their stupid FN... believes everthing said by the Government... They don't care about justice... only peace... But peace in Eelam wont last very long when these SINHALA ONLY leaders are ruling the Tamil people... If WESTERN AUTHORITES were impartial they would have stopped these Sinhala Only fanatic leaders long ago...
  
  When Sri Lanka got independence from the British, the power went to the Sinhala politicians and they started unfair politics towards the Tamils... Their first step was to disfranchise 1.000.000 "Indian Tamils"... This meant that the Sinhalese denied every single HUMAN RIGHTS... Afterwards Sinhalese and Hindians traded with Indian and Eelam Tamils --> 100.000 Indian Tamils starved to death...

  The point here is, you are appealing to an authority(to help Sri Lankan Tamils) that was once defrauded by Sri Lankan Tamils. Do you not expect the authority to take into consideration the wrong done to it by the Sri Lankan Tamils or should it just jump on a bandwagon and do as Sri Lanka Tamils wish or desire? But I am no disputing for a moment that Sri Lankan Tamils do not have a good cause. I do not need to know the details.
