Nobel for destroying Tamil Culture - is that true?

Recently i got a mail wherein it was stated that there is a systematic conspiracy to destroy the Asian Cultures in the third millenium and the Church has pooled Rs.68000 crores for this purpose.
It seems Pope has given a call for converting Asia and India is the first target. It seems by 2005 they want 20% of Tamils to be converted into christians.
All this and more was written in a mail i received recently.I am reproducing some portions of the mail which had some startling information on the way even Nobel prize was influenced by the Church to further the cause:
You might have read this news about a missionary getting nominated
for nobel prize.
http://rediff.com/news/2002/oct/02nobel.htm
Here is the committe that has nominated him:
http://www.pl-oslo.net/warsaw_committee.htm
The first 3 are office bearers from a Christian theological
seminary in Poland. The fourth is an academic from Poland and a
formwer Polish diplomat to India. The fifth one is the Christian
arch bishop from Orissa. The sixth is a Christian church minister
from Poland. The seventh is a tribal Christian Rajya sabha member
from Orissa, whose father's name is Phillip Kujur. The eighth is
a Polish writer, who has often raised funds for Christian
charities, but who himself is not known to be partisan. That makes
him the only neutral person, so far. Even then, one cannot forget
the fact that he might have pitched for a compatriot. The ninth
one is a senior Vaitcan priest and office bearer. The next 2 are
the offical arch bishop and church minister from Poland and
incidentally also from the same sect as the nominee. The next one
is a Polish film director and little is known about her. This
makes the number of neutral supporters two. The next one is a
Polish musician, almost unknown.
The next person, Andrzej Sujka, is actually facing the charges of
child molestation. He has been thrown out by his church, where he
was a parish priest, after the controversy got out of
control!!!!!
The next one, seems to be a person of some calibre, being a
physicist from Poland. That makes him the first dignitary to have
nominated this missionary for the nobel and makes the list of
neutral persons three. The last one is an unknown photographer
from Poland.
In the final reckoning, it becomes obvious that it is a well
orchestrated church campaign to project an unknown missionary as a
great person, so as to help in proselytization. Just to add some
sense of dignity, they have managed to rope in 4 neutrals, all of
whom are Poles and none of whom has even visited India once.
BTW, one would be hard pressed to find any reference to this
missionary from Puri, in any newspaper in India. But, now you can
be sure that our English media will elevate him to the ranks of a
great saint. Nobody would question as to why he had selected Puri,
the holiest site in eastern India for the Vaishnavas, as his camp
ground. Well, then nobody questioned as to why Teresa selected
Kalighat, near where Ramakrishna paramahansa preached, as her camp
ground. The objective is very clear. Pitch missionaries in the
holiest of Hindu places and harvest converts there.
Nobody will even bother to corroborate whether this missionary
really runs a hospital in that place. In all likelihood, I bet, he
would be using government hospital like Teresa did in Kalighat. I
can investigate this though.
This makes one thing clear: Nothing works like propaganda - a
systematic one at that!
If its true , all christians of India should oppose this conferment and also unite with their Hindu brothers to condemn such actions!
I wish Tamil Christians come forward to prevent any such organised crime being commited in the name of religion against a hapless populace using money power and other support .

Ok let me start ...
// karunaayan cannot be a SL tamil, because they have great respect for christians and muslims. Infact LTTE has lots and lots of christian martyrs. //
He is ..he has said that he is a sri lankan tamil that has fled lanke due to the constant massacres.
// I urge you to stop this anti-Tamil propaganda. If you have had problems with certain individuals, attack them individually but not as a group. It appears this Bharathiyar is no better than KaruVayan. Do not ever attempt to divide Tamils based on religion or region. If anyone dares to attack Eelam Tamils, we will expose the quality of his or her Tamilness. //
I will admit it that I am an Indian Nationalist. I am pro - India and whoever which is not of India (karu) says things that are totally against the the true Indian Dharma, I will retaliate in the worst way possible.
It appears that you're a tiger sympathizer who has come to the aid of fellow fanatics like yourself. But unlike him, you're a hidden fanatic. And if anyone dares to attack Indians, we indians (i.e. - tamils, malayalis, telungus, marathis, punjabis, gujaratis, kashmiris) will leave our petty differences aside and unleash a hell your singhalese brothers couldn't even come close to.
// Eelam Tamils have utmost respect for Christians. Christian priests remain in war zones and assist war victims and orphans. Over 30 percent of the LTTE liberation fighters are Christians. You should be ashamed to call yourself a Tamil Christian. Are you a Tamil or Tamil Speaking? //
Eelam Tamils have utmost respect for christians, then why is this karu who claims to be of sri lankan origin, being so violent towards the minorities of india, as he is an Eelam Tamil himself. And please, not ALL Eelam Tamils are so loving and angelic. If that was the case then that three decades of war was all a bad dream ?!?! Please. Cut the crap. Yes, when it comes down to my religion I am ashamed for acting the way I act sometimes, but it is people like Karu that push the envelope and I will not stand it when some sri lankan born man with an Indian-passport tries to dictates indian tamils how to live the Indian life.
// If you want to attack KaruvAyan, call him an Indian. Stop referring him as a Sri Lankan. I would like to remind you that it is India that is meddling in the Sri Lankan affairs and not other way around. //
If i want to attack karu, i will call him a sri lankan for when he stops i will. I would like to remind you that we stepped into your problems not just because we had our south indian brothers, THEN supporting you guys. It was also dus to great compulsion from the former chauvinistic sinhala regime and the Tigers themselves. We are not that humanitarian.
I am an Indian. I have tamil and malayali background and i speak 5 Indian languages. Does that answer your question ?
// This is a Tamil history forum and Tamils of all countries have the right to interact with each other. If this bothers you, you may go to the Indian forum. Since there was no Tamil Nadu State before mid 1950s, when you discuss anything prior to establishment of Tamil Nadu State, it includes all Tamils living around the world. //
Yes it was formed in the mid 1950's ...but there was always a thamizh nadu and that was India itself. Thamizh nadu, known then and now still as the madras presidency, known way long ago as the pandya nmadu and the chaera nadu kingdoms and many many more names. But it was the same Tamil Nadu that I love. You sri lankans have your own history with your singhala brothers although i admit that you have things in common with us on the basis of some history and culture. That is all. You are totally different.
I have no problem if the Tamils of Sri Lanka want to discuss problems and what not. All i ask of you people is to keep the false Tiger pride and the seccessionist, Thamizh Puligal Vazhkave crap aside and focus on th more important issues at hand. Do u see any threads here of sri lankan issues with my comments in it. NO ! that is because i respect their problems and I am ready to give them their space. But if one of you comes in and intrudes in our INDIAN's problems, I will be quick to strike. As you just don't belong here.
A tamil is of the native of India and the Native of India is the one who accepts the Indian Dharma - that all the children of India are one. Maybe you Tigers do not have that loyalty, but most of the tamils living in India do have it and I am happy to say that there are many more that are realizing that. It is a slow process, but we are getting there.
Now to AJ --
// I didn’t see any other way to answer this anti Tamil Malayali guy’s unwanted nasty attack on all srilankan Tamils. //
nice name u gave me there ....pretty creative stuff. So u call karu's attack ....wanted ....isn't that unwanted as well ? Stop siding with you Tiger buddy.
//this guy has some personal grudge against us. Initially I hated to go down to his level but instead of attacking one person he was attacking entire Srilankan Tamils. //
I do not have a personal grudge on ALLLL the sri lankan tamils .....I hate the ones who come out here and intrude a predominantly Indian thread talking bout Indian issues and spreading poison whether it be about the tigers, or hinduism or whatever it may be.
Unfortunately in my life, I have encountered with very few decent and sophisticated Eelam people. The ones I have met believe that we Indian tamils are supposed to be sympathetic for an organization (whom I once admired, but now not) who has killed fellow Tamils for obvious reasons and has killed many Indian Tamils and Indians in general back in Sri Lanka (Including my cousin). You think IPKF was a bad chapter in your history, It was our vietnam ! not yours ! You have any idea how many soldiers we lost ...all they had were pistols and radios. They were taken advantage of by both the tigers and a corrupt Indian and Sri Lankan government that did nothing. At least when they came back, we as Indians were suppossed to understand the situation and console them. But no, we Tamils and the Indian people at large cared not for these people who had lost their lives and gave the least amount of recognition for these fallen heroes. All they had were friggin hand pistols !
We lost a great amount of our soldiers that day and i will never forget what i saw in Tamil Nadu and other places of India. The tigers are nothing but a politico-military organization that wants it's needs fulfilled and cared nothing for the Tamil people at large and I hate anyone who supports this organization, which are mostly most Eelam Tamils and a few handful of Indian Tamils.
// This Malayali fellow doesn’t really know anything about SL Tamil history. He doesn’t know that the predominantly Hindu Tamils of Srilanka accepted a Christian called Samuel James Veluppilaai Chelvanayagam as the father of Eelam Tamils and still remember him with love and respect as “Thanthai Chelva”. //
This Tamil and a Malayali fellow does know much about the history and i do know about Thanthai Chelvam. Those were the days i admired Eelam Tamils and I was a strong supporter. But what can you do, once you learn the truth you sometimes feel that it would have been better if i did not know the truth at all .
// I don’t think being a real Indian means not to be proud of his or her Tamilness. //
Easy for you to say. You are a Sri Lankan. But for many Indians like us, our Tamilness is our India. As i say a lot - Tamil is of the essence of India. Something you, as a Sri Lankan Tamil just cannot understand.
// I think many people don’t understand an Indian Tamil’s feeling for his brethrens of any part of the world always will be much stronger than his feelings for people of another state in India. //
You are light years away from the truth. Just as i said. The Sri Lankans feel as if We, just because we are of South Indian origin have to feel linked to these people. There is no doubt that we do have things in commin with you. But don't impose this upon us. We have our duties as Indians just as you as Tigers have your own set of beliefs.
You think that all the 100 millions Indian Tamils all over the world feel the same way you feel ? LOL ....brother you are light years away from the truth.
Finally, your bharathiyar lines are extremely wonderful. But understand that when he says, Thaai Naadu, he means India ......Tamil is of the product of India. Hence, he calls Tamil Nadu - Thaai Naadu ..Bhaarathu Naadu.
My final comment is -- I only hate the ones that hate us. And I would like Sri Lankan Tamils to open up their threads and conduct their historical debates, as long as no India-bashing is seen and no Sri - Lankan bad mouths and bashes the minority and majority commuinities of INDIA.
I don't hate ALL Eelam Tamils. For god's sakes, My gf is an Eelam Tamil.
I just hate MOST of the ones I have met. If i meeet an Eelam Tamil who can change my views, I will be openly willing to change. Change is always possible . God takes care of the sparrows and swallows. The man takes care of the most important thing of all - his mind.

I beg to differ to this "Indian". There won't bo no Tamil people if it wasn't born in India. Therefore a sensible Indian would probably put his loyalyty in his country and his culture. Not in potisions and places.
