I could not believe the news that the Ex. Minister was assassinated when he was going for
a walk in the morning.

This shows the reality of the mixture of hooliganism in TN politics.

What do u people think?

  DMK won only 1 seat in 1991 after Rajiv's assassination but went on to win the 1996 assembly election.JJ lost her own seat with her party managing only 4 seats in 1996.However she came on to win handsomely in 2001.So do not write off any of the mainstream parties parties in TNadu.
  
  DMK needs a new leader.The party i believe will get it after this internal strife.

  The reason why DMK could win is becoz of M.karunanidhi not becoz of Stalin.

  A few points Mr Bala:
  1.DMK won in 1996 not becos of MK alone.The merger with TMC,the anti Jeya wave and the personality of Rajni were big influences.
  
  2.I am not an Indian citizen.I do not know how bad MK Stalin is.But in my personal view,the TNadu CM's seat that can accomodate the likes of VN Janaki,JJayaram and Pannerselvam can surely accomadate Mr Stalin if he does get it.
  
  3.There is no point in bringing Chidambaram into the frame.We can all can name hundreds of people who might make good politicians.Howeever politics is for the crude and cunning minds in whom the life force is too intence in whom the darkness on the other side conseals all too well.And frankly CB does not stand a the slimmest of chance against DMK or ADMK.

  Even tough I support the BJP, it would be better for Chidambaram to head Tamizh Nadu. He is a highly educated man - educated at Harvard University and a very intelligent man. Under him Tamizh Nadu will witness prosperity like it did under K Kamaraj.
