Any suggestions on reviving the ancient martial arts of Tamil Nadu and improving what we have learnt from the Japanese, Chinese and the Koreans?

Living in a monastery and learning Martial arts may not be possible in TN, but there is a Karate or Kung fu school in almost every town, and most of them are good enough to train for any level.

The martial arts of Tamil Nadu are so evident in their movies ... where the heroes and villans fold up their lungis (exposing the striped underwear) and jump over a strategically placed camera. What direction! What martial arts! Lungi ba***ds and martial arts ... what a joke.
Vadivelu is the Jackie Chan of Tamizh Nadu!
And Sendil the Bruce Lee!

Marma sutra
A kalaripayattu expert who is also a practitioner of `marma chikitsa'
In the Kalari thara, youngsters are practising kalari chuvadu, their bodies glistening with gingelly oil. Some of them are practising with weapons such as sticks, daggers, axes, swords and shields. Elsewhere, one of his patients is being given a `kai uzhichil' (hand massage) for a sprain. It is his third visit to the `Sri Buddha Institute of Martial Arts', where he is being treated by Kalaripayattu master and marma expert, C.S. Suchit.
