  yes why don't you go ahead and say Thamizh language wasn't the language of Eezha people and that Ezhu was lol! Listen Singhalam has Thamizh because it was near to Thamizh and people who speak Singhalese once were Thamizh so don't say meen came from Singhalam. Meen is the flag of paandiyars. Paandy dynasty was in TN in the sanga literature about 3,000 years ago and madhurai wasn't the first capital anyway so the kumarikandam didn't just go under the Sea all at once but bits by bits it went down and also the change of north pole of Earth must have affected it too and the end of Ice ages.

  first DD and All India Radio encroached in Tamil land. Then came some few Northy run discotheques which lured many tamilians , which imposed lot of Hindi music on them and they liked it the way they accepted northy bombay gusbu and they built temple.
  Now MTV,zee-TV,V-Channel, iTV, sTAR TV, FTV (HINDI FASHION ONLY), NDTV, AAJ TAK ALL ARE imposing and intruding into tamil blood like a virus. Some kids even want to make this as their mother tongue. Image DMK anti-hindi man karunanidhi's daugheter is Hindi lecturer and all his kids and grand kids know hindi and love Hindi.. What tamil tribune is going to for that. Do they have sold plan and agenda to remove this private channel TV menace. Block all such channels who talk about Hindi. Close all the discotheques who mostly play Hindi music and some English Music,there is not even a single discotheque , club or pub which plays Tamil music, they all need to be driven out of Tamilnadu border and dumped in Hindi belted Bangalore.
  We cannot lick Hindi diks , let kanndas do that.
  
  We will have Tamil discotheques, Tamil jazzaurants with katpadi and vellore music. That way singapore is much better where Hindi influence is least, Tamilians have their own gay clubs, discotheques, Tamil jazz restaurants etc.
  Ms. dhanjai Nalankiizhhhhhhhhhhi please look into this matter and make Tamilnadu a great Tamil place where Jaina Acharyya kundakunda(Thiruvalluvar name given by Brahmins)lived.
  
  Take care friends, It is my sincere advice with bit of sarcasm. But Tamils must not loose their identity. Already so many Dalits are ready to ridicule hinduism, Tamil and accepted churches and roman language.

  First capital of Pandyas was located near the mouth of river Thamraparni and was later known as Korkai[Dakshina Madura.It is the same area across the gulf of Mannar where Ela civilization flourished 3000 years ago. Today most of people in the area are Muslims and Paradavaras and Pandias live lot interior from these port areas.
