Why do so many Tamils have trouble pronouncing the "S" in my name, Skanthavelu? I will introduce myself as Skanthavelu and they keep calling me KANTHAVELU! :( Even if I put emphasis on the S ie: SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSkanthavelu they still pronounce it as Kanthavelu. Someone please tell me why some Tamil people have trouble pronouncing final "S" at the beginning of my name. Jai Karunamayi!
