I am a Ceylon tamil and strongly believe my roots are from Kerala.I have this strong desire for Jewish faith,the state of Israel and for the Indian Jews.

  they went from all over Tamilnadu, but many went from Chera kingdom too. Many of today's sinhalese are actually malayalis.
  
  BTW, your desire jewish faith might just be your connection to God in a particular way and nothing to do with whether you are a jew or not.

  i know some tamil males married to jew in USA. As per tamil thier childerns are belong to fathers religion. but as per jews mother is important for thier child to be a jew.
  
  My opinion is, God is same for all religion. Cast system is thier in all religion based on economy status.
  
  I lived among jews for some years. I know some jews are in kerala before 100 some years. and when jews state was created. most of them moved to jews state(palestaine) to live economically well.

But we can't make out those Tamil Jews in Tamil Nadu , India because those Jews and native/ ancient Tamil ( Not really Tamil ) speaking people ( Untouchable of India are almost similar in terms of their physical attributes and other features .   There are big group of Jews who settled in INDIA and very smart(Consider them self & also I Agree they were quite sucessful) some 3000 years before. Now they live in INDIA as Brahmins & Aryans. The ones in cochins settled in mid 18 century.

  rama was a kshatria. Well as i gave u all a rigorous proof about who is a kshatria in india (especially north and south). I dont know about north, but in south we (non brahmins) are were the kshatrias. Gods and idols are dark in south india.

  While some of the responses to this question have been realistic, others have not. I can tell from first hand experience. Jews are not Aryans whereas Brahmins are Aryans (supposedly originally from Persian empire but difficult to say). In fact, Jews and Aryans had a lot of problems between them during the WWII. There is a lot of relationship between Jews and Arabs, both are semitic tribes. According to the bible (if you believe in that sort of thing), they are descended from the same forefather (Abraham). They have nothing to do with Aryans or Dravidians, they are from the Mediteranian region in the distant past. However due to intermarriage, it is difficult to say nowadays. Please do not mix them with Gods or demons in anyway whatsoever.
  
  One thing that I am appalled is the amount of hatred and ill-will of brahmin, non-brahmin over a topic that has nothing to do with it. For my part I hope that you get a life. The world is a big place and for a place like Tamil Nadu to improve, the people have to mature and forgive and forget the problems of the past. Otherwise there is no hope for that beautiful place to take a place in the next millenium where one would want a truly egalitarian society and there are so many pressing problems to be solved.
