I read a few articles on the web about this finding os GRAHAM HANCOCK, off Mahabalipuram coast.
I really don't know what to belief as there are not references I can find from other renowned archeological websites.
Can someone shed some light!!

There does seem to be some amount of substance with Graham Hancock. Tamil Literature mentions 'Kumari Kandam' an island south of Madurai, possibly either in the Indian Ocean or the Arabian Sea or in between both.
This infact, negates the so called 'Aryan Invasion Theory'. If the Dravidians(Tamils) came from Kumari Kandam in the seas, how could they live in the Indus Valley?

I think the Tamil Literature's reference 'Kumari Kandam' is not an island but a large piece of land connected to the southern India.
Anyway, I see little references to Hancock's discoveries in other reseach works. It is only talked of in some news articles.
That gives me the doubt! Was there really a city discovered?

Some fishermen from Kanyakumar recently reported comming accross submerged structures around the coast of Maldives. It should be noted that the Maldives Archipelago is in constant threat of sinking because of rising sea levels. The entire archipelago could sink in a few hundred years or less.
This in fact, provides a clue to the existence of Kumari Kandam around that area.
