Another great archeological discovery in India

A rare Tamil Brahmi inscription, dating back to third century BC, engraved in a cave where early Jain monks were said to have resided, has been recently discovered by epigraphists of the Tamil Nadu Archaeology Department, at Arittapatti village, about 20 km from here.

During the 3rd century there was a migration of Jains from North India to the south. The most prominent of them was the Chandra Gupta Maurya. After establishing the first empire in India, he retired to a Jain establishment in Karnataka, where he died by starving.

  Me belong to Erode district & You can still note Jain monuments in Nasiyanoor, Chinapuram & Thingaloor area. In fact Jaina Puram has become China Puram & Chandra Puri has become Thingal Oor! The practice early was what ever be the religion of the king is the religion of people. Except intellectuals & educated (not the brahmin b*****ds) what the ordinary people could have understood about a religion? In fact more that 80% of the people were illiterates in that era. But they folowed Jainism truly & when their kings became the stooges of brahmins, they had no other options other than to return to the meat eating, caste ridden, filthy Hinduism.

  no wonder why all dravids still hate brahmins unknowingly. Even today brahmins don't allow these dravids in their own temples which were converted by shankaracharya by killing 8000 jain monks in madurai. NO wonder all the south indian temples are still covered with full jewellary and artificial hands, legs, eyes and namam to hide the real identity of jain gods. Thirupathy is nothing but a thirthankar idol which were renamed rechristened as lord venkateshwara(who do not have any history-- avatar- fraud identity only). Also most of temples in Kanchipuram are converted to dalitism religion by these ba$$$$tard retard brahmins. Same goes in Kerala. Even some of deities in kanchipuram can be found with thirthankar symbol on their head which is either scratched off or embedded with namam to cover the identity.

  Jainism and Buddhism ar the two ancient religions practiced by Tamilians which were ruined by Brahmins and Brahmin Supporters. Before Buddhism and Jainism they practiced Tradititional way of living. Even today though majority Tamils are said to be Hindus practice Traditional way of living by performing Kidavettu, Kaadhukuttu, Kulavai etc.,I think the entire Kumarikandam perished due to Tsunami by 2000 B.C had a fine Tamil culture. Paahruli aaru, kumari aaru, kumarimalai, kabadapuram, Then madurai etc., were all vanished due to Kadarkol(Tsunami) by 2000 B.C.

  It is fight among themselves, meaning none of ur business.
  Ur Chola kings too have history of killing many Vaishnavite and forcing them to follow saivaism.
  So set right ur people then come to Hinduism, Buddhism or Jainism or Christianity or Islam.
  U have no say on any of these religions.
  All Dravidians follow religions that came from north.
  Only choice left for them is to quit all the religions and not identify with any of them.
  Dont defend or talk against any of them.

  Ya, still dravids follow their old, barbaric 'CULTURE' of animal sacrifice & all that dates back Jain era. But their lifestyle could've been refined if Jainism existed. Think deep, Tamils have great taste, great skills, great sense of humour but lacks decipline. Jainism or Budhism could have served that much wanted decipline. Imagine Tamils with all the good qualities coupled with decipline!

  Dont say that all people of North India are Aryans. See Biharis, Oriyans & Bengalis; do they have any features of Aryan race? Aryans & Dravids have mingled - The aryan mix is prominent at North areas like Punjab & Rajasthan, Dravidian mix is prominant far away areas from Indus vally like South & East India.
  
  Any proof that Buddha & Mahavir were Aryans? Sure they are non-brahmins.

  Thanx for your comments. All the big temples must have been built by Jains! What these brahmins cleverly done was to identify Buddha & Mahavir as incarnations of Hindu gods like Vishnu - thereby destroying the original identity of both the great religions. But I am unclear why dravid intelectuals fell prey to brahmin plot & supported in destroying these religions?

  Hi kattu, jainism is religion without charisma or wonders or magics. Whereas these brahmins lured some kings by showing some magics and wonders(not part of moral or logical religion). These kings inturn destroyed jainism. Nearly 8000 jain monks were grilled to death in madurai by Shankaracharya during 8th century a.d. Even today you can find lot of remains of jainism around madurai dated back to 3rd century b.c. IN YANNAMALAI, SAMANARMALAI, KAZHAGUMALAI AND NEARLY 55 SITES LISTED BY ARCHAEOLOGY DEPT. The origin of Tamil language started from Jainism era. Ganesha(vinayaka) was imported concept by brahmins who were originally aryans moved from north. Brahmins used everything from Dravid culture including their language and called it their own creation by fraudulent means. Most of heritage hence converted to avatar of vishnu, perumals etc.

  A Pandian prince who was chosen by a Buddist from North.

  He was called silent monk.
  He remained in a cave silent for 7years in china.

  If u look for identity, sure u will get.
  Just recently someone came from north to convert some Dalits to Buddism.
  Like that u can continue slowly, at the end to become buddist with seprate identity.
