Vanakam,

If any of you have read Harry Potter you will realize we need a children's book like this in Tamil. The lack of young people being interested in Tamil is the non availability of materials in Tamil for their age group. There is a good difference in Ambulimama & Harry Potter. Hope more people will contribute in building good books and materials, which children like & enjoy in Tamil

  I agree, there are not many good books 9 to 15 year olds can read in Tamil. I do hope there is a writer and a publisher somewhere who will consider this gap in the market. I for one would definitely buy them for my son

  when they could have it in Hindi, Why not in Tamil? In Bengali even authorized copies sold a lot... Even unauthorized tamil translation could be fraction of the english cost and have potential sales...

  did u read vandumama stories in tamil. They were good. Very much comparable to HP.
