nka nkaa nki varisai tamil alpharbet

We are using only 'nk' 'nka' the two letters from the nka varisai tamil alphabet for ankanam and inkanam. Can any one tell me a word using other letters in the 'nk' varisai like nki, nkii, nku, nkuu etc. If they are not used why those letters are in the tamil alphabet. Can some body clarify it for me please.

it is "nkappOl vaLai"
not "nkappOl valai" (Lai not lai)
