Since Janakiraman is one of my favourite authors I really would like to get into his masterpiece "Uyirthen".

I would consider Thi. Jha's Nallabaagam and even "Moghamull" (in the same order) as his better creations than "Uyirthen".

Why 'even' moghamuL? moghamuL is undoubtedly the best. My sort order is like this :
1) moghamuL
2) ammA vanthAL
3) marappasu
4) uyirthEn
5) all others

Dear Roy,
U may be right. This is my personal opinion and very subjective.
Just an observation : All Thi.Jha's stories have
a "yezhai" of "thagaadha oravu" (U have to see
them in the context of the year in which it was
penned). As far as I know, "Nallabhaagam" is the
only novel of Thi. Jha which doesn't have this "yezhai".
Now, don't assume that I am ranking "Nallabhagam"
higher just for this "moral reasoning". The above
is just an observation and once again reiterate
that it is subjective and individualistic.
Somehow I feel isnpired by the hero character of
"Nallabhagam" (forgot the name) while can't say
the same about others.
