Any sites showing examples??
I know its Tamil with heavly borrowings from Sanskrit. I have heard that is really difficult to understand, that even Tolkappiam, or Silapathigaram is understood without a dictionary. But no dictionary would be useful to decipher ManipravAla Tamil. Can someone post some sentences or examples of it. Just curious to know.

There are some good commentaries in manipravalam. I have not come across many. I think the Saraswathi Mahal Library in Thanjavur would have some.

Manipravalam commentary traditon is alive even today among the Srivaishnavas. the tiruppavai discourses and other kalakshepam by srivaishnava scholors are all in Manipravala style. All literature written by the Srivaishnava acharyas in tamil is invariable in the Manipravala style. To put roughly they technical philsophical terms are freely barrowed from sanskrit and the shastra and is frely adopted intothe tamil language. Hence it is not very difficult to understand. the tamil works of Sri Vedanta desika the 'tani sloki' of Periyavacchan pillai, Acharya hridaym and the mumukshuppadi of Manvalamahamuni all are in the Manipravala style. The postgraduate depatrmenton Vissitadvaita at madras unversity can be of more help. Dr. Vankatakrishnan their and the popular speakers velakkudi krishnan and oa few more can easily give more information. Here is soem examples of the Manipravala styel
