Please could some one let me know where can I find English translations of Auvayar's Nalvazhi?

This is urgently needed!

Infact, where can I find translations to all Auvayar's works? Is it not available on the Net?

  I don't know whether Nalvazhi and Muuthurai are the same. What I am really after is an English translation of the poem "Paalum ThezhithEnum..."

  pAlum theLithEnum pAgum paruppumivai
  nAlum kalandhunakku nAn tharuvEn--kOlancei
  thungak karimugaththu thUmaNiyE nIyenakkuc
  cangath thamizh mUnRunthA
  
  This is an invocation rendered unto Lord Ganapathi also known as vinAyakA.
  O Lord I will give you milk, honey, caramalized sugar and dal( a lentil) all mixed together. O elephant-faced splendour please give me the gift of the three facets of sangath thamizh.
  
  Here avvayAr offers a delectable combination of food materials and asks Lord Ganapathi to bestow her with the gift of sangath thamizh ( which is iyal(prose) isai(music) and nAtakam(drama)) in its three forms mentioned above.

  This verse of St.Avvai is just metaphorical. She means here the nector like Soma ozzing and offering that through Yogic peak. This is some thing to happen within the microcosm when the Muladhara Ganapathi is raised as a spark Vel to Sahasrara.
  
  Sangath thamiz mUnRu are A U m. St.Avvaiyar is a great upasaki of Ganesa. She is praying here for Pranava Samadhi chanting AUm the eternal Pranava.

  Olavayar, (sorry folks I *had* to say this :)), memories of my initial encounter with auvaiyar in class I ), in any case, auvaiyar has been quoted as women's voice here http://www.tl.infi.net/~ddisse/auvaiyar.html. Somehow never thought of auvaiyar as woman's voice, considered her a great voice, not specifically as a woman's voice. In fact I have never thought of any of our literary giants as man's voice or woman's voice.

  There were several Avvaiyaars in the history of Tamil literature. But all of them called as Avvaiyaar. Why? Is Avvaiyaar character came along with Lord Murugan? Gemini's Avvaiyaar movie listed several events in the history of Avvaiyaar. Avviyaar had worked for peace between Athiyamaan and Thondaimaan. Some Avvaiyar's had their own names. In Silapathikaaram, Goundhiyadigal is considered as an Avvaiyaar. Why? In recent history of Tamilnadu, Actress/Singer K.B.Sundaraambaal who acted as Avvaiyaar in many movies including Gemini's Avvaiyaar & APN's Thiruvilayaadal is also considered as an Avvaiyaar.   Ananthan: I have not really looked into the net- but if you are that keen you can pick up "Poems of Auvaiyaar/Avvaiyaar PaadalkaL" with translation/meaning in Tamil and English... I have a copy that I picked up at Vaanathi Padhippakam, Chennai. The contents include: Attisudi, Konrai Vendan, Vakkundam and Nalvazhi. Very Instructive!

  Ananthan,
  There is a very simple reason why English translations of many Tamil books are not available on the Net. Unless the author has given permission, it will be an infringement of his copyright. It is also nice to support book-publishers by buying such books and thus ensuring that atleast a very small amount of money reaches the translating author for his effort.
