I just read this book and loved the way it was depicted. Very clean cut plot, logical and straight narration and full of humour! There was not a chapter which I felt was unnecessary. And based mostly on historical facts. A beautiful and fast paced story in just 70 chapters! Hats Off Saandilyan!

  You should also try the original - Rafael Sabatini's Bellarion the Fortunate. Sandilyan has seamlessly integrated this story with tamil history to come up with mannan magal.
