Dear friends:
This thread is to keep posing commonly used English words in our professional and personal lives, and seek their correct/approximate Tamil equivalents from learned people.
The motive is to know where all possibilities exist to avoid mixing English words and thus speak 'Thooya Tamizh'.
I welcome all like minded people to both pose and reply.

any specic reason for you capitalizing some and not the other letters? Just want to make sure that I am not missing out on some pun or ullurai!

This is not correct. Please read Dr. N. Ganesan's post that I have posted for vAsan above. ga sound only comes when preceded by ng. Intermediate k is a softened k somewhere between k and h.
I Do Not agree with ganeshans above interpretations if what u say is what he meant .I myself am a research scholar in Tamil &i have read TolKappiyam Many a times apart i have been scanning tamil words & its formation for @least 12years now. I can assure you that Consonents in Tamil do independently exemplify only two orders &the higher order cannot start a tamil word. &to have a lower order consonent any where except @ the start should be preceded by uyirmaey ezhuththu of the same consonent,
Regarding my email id forget it.

This any student with basic Tamil knowledge would know. The question is on prnounciation of K not where mei ezhuthu and uyirmei ezhuthu occur.
Re: capitalization of my nick, you should know which letters you have capitalized. As a scholar you should know that capitalizing a letter brings a different letter in play, so why are you capitalizing some of the letters in my nic?
