  I am one of those who was mesmerised by the series on seethapatti and appuswamy. Though funny I always felt on the side of poor Appuswamy, the weaker partner.

  I think there is an appuswami in every man and he finds his Seethai kizhavi in his wife.
  Is it because a woman's e.q. is higher than a man's.

  The series bacame popular just because of the hillarious illustrations of JEYARAJ the artist.
  He brought to life Appusamy and seetha Patti.
  But poor Jeyaraj! no one has commented about him!

  Jayaraj became popular after Appusamy portrayal. Jayaraj's letterhead carries Appusamy and seethapatty's drawings in one corner. as it is really the illustration mingles with the story and that gives so much popularity to the story.
