Hi,
Jayamohan is writing a series of essays and Stories based on Sangam Literature. It is one of the best explanations I have read.
Earlier Thamizhannal was doing some similar sort of work in Inikkum Ilakkiam. Is there any good works of similar nature?
Regards,
Traveler

JM is doing a marvellous job. In fact, these are the translations of his articles that originally appeared in Malayalam.

Sanga Chithirangal: Infact, he (Mr.JeyaMohan) did n't have a job of lecturing of the Tamil Sangha Literacy and he did n't try to explain or write the detailed summary of each Sangha pslam. He just matching the theam of the lyric with his own experience. Thats all! In each of the topic, he described his experience and notes just related to the Sangha lyrics. He didn't summarise it. I think it is a good thing. Recently I have to read one of the predominant Sangha Literacy 'Kurunhokai' (Ed. by: Mr. Shanmugam Pillai). Jeyamohan also took some pslams from it. I can compare the textual elements of the both and got some discrepancy in Jeyamohan's definitions.
Of course he may be right or wrong but the main matter is he tried to create a lingual interpolation of the contemporaries to go through the Sangha and searching the answers from our ancestors.
eg.: In Kurunthokai No.:1. the lyric all about the Kurunchi - "Senkalam padakondru... kulai kattae.") He described that Lord Muruga (God of Kurunchi) seemed to be reddish and asked why?; but from Mr. shanmuga Pillai's explanation it is quite dissimilar. Anyway, the same substance can have a multiple of exposures and Mr. Jeyamohan also exposed his own style of writing and meaning.

Hello Nathan,
Mr. Jeyamohan is living in Nagercoil, which he passionately tells us in his stories and essays. There are many great writers this district has produced.
They are Sundara Ramaswamy, Thoppil Mohammed Meeran, and NeelaPadmanabhan. Most of them are Malayalees, but they have done good service to our Tamil..
Then Jeyamohan is working as a Telephone Operator in some co. there itself. Thats all I know Nathan..
Regards,
Traveler.

Hey guys!
Ever heard of Works of Mu.Ra.Perumal Mudhaliayar?
I read three of this books when I during my days in Annamalai University.
Those there was no analysis of poems as by JM, this books on Nattrinai, Kurunthohai and Agananooru had the original song with the new version of it. Liked it.
Try it guys!
