In Kalki's "Parthiban Kanavu", any one remembers what is the name of the King who disguises as "sivanadiyar"?
thanks

Narasimha Pallavar. I think.
Though PK came before Sivakamiyin Sabatham, by storyline it is happens immediately after SS. After Maamallar sacks vaathaapi, capital of Pulakesi II, his brother Neelakesi comes to the pallava kingdom seeking revenge. This character is the buththa bikshu in SS.
The identity of the sivanadiyaar was a great mystery when it was first serialised. My dad still recalls all the heated debate about who it would be. One of his cousins claimed ponnan is the sivanadiyaar and in one episode ponnan meets sivanadiyaar. They still make fun of her, though she is 70 years old, "ponnanaip pOy sivanadiyaarnnu sonnava thaanE nee" :-)
Or am I completely confused and 40 years from now you guys will be making fun of me, "narasimma pallavaraip pOy sivanaidyaarnnu sonnavan thaanE nee" :-) :-)

KaLaamukan and Kaapaalikan are two different entities.
The person in 'Paarthipan Kanavu' is a Kaapaalikan.
