kAmaththuppAl deserves to be studied as much as any cangkam era akam poetry. It presents the essence of cangkam akam poetry in a unique way.
Those who are not in possession of any cangkam anthologies such as akan-AnUru, kuRun-thokai need not despair. You only need kAmaththuppAl to enjoy the essence of all those thousands of cangkam poems.

  People must *buy* that album. It is excellent.
  $25 (non-profit) is absoultely nothing. It is selling
  
  I know mr. Rammohan personally. He visited Atlanta for donation for his next project:
  "The Handbook of Tamil Heritage and ThirukkuRaL".
  It will be heirloom quality with 1600 pages of bilingual stuff in a book only one-and-one-quarter inch thick book! Will be 24-carat gold plated on three sides. The first part is the cultural handbook and the second is thirukkuRaL with beautiful Tamil and English txlns. I have donated more than $1500 for this. He has collected more than $85000 out of the $100,000 needed to print it. He is having difficulty attaining that money.Please donate to translate all our *talk* here for Tamil cause into concrete *deed*.
