It means nothing to Thamizhan! Thamizhans from the ancient time have celebrated Thamizh New Year in 'Thai' mAtham 'January to Thamizh' and 'sithitai mAtham (thinkaL) 'April to Thamizh' and these 60 years things influenced Thamizhans in the past 250 years and should be avoided as you can notice that almost more than 90% of the 60 years have Sanskirit names and expect the word 'aAndu' which is pure Thamizh!
