What is the meaning of the name "Sengalvaraayan"? From the "Kandar sashti kavacham" it seems to be a name of Muruga. Is it specific to some place/temple?

Daksha is not a she. Daksha is a he. Daksha was one of the Prajapatis. The only Daksha i remember is Sati's father who conducted the Yajna and did not invite Shiva to it. Sati was humiliated there.
She could not bear the humiliation and went into samadhi state. Shiva could not bear seperation from Sati. This later lead to the creation of Shakti Peethams spread across the country.

The other Daksha i know is the one who was approached by Indra, the king of the Devatas and Virocana, the king of the Asuras.
Both approach Daksha for spiritual guidance. Indra understands the philosophy behind the subtle message but Virocana does not understand and hence takes a path of destruction and hate.
This story is told by Acharyas to highlight the time when people not fit to understand philosophy start abusing it. Kinda like the bibilical message - don't show your pearls before a swine.

Hemant, i heard the IT slowdown is going to be even more worse in US thanks to the outsourcing of jobs to India. I heard people earning $80 K in US are losing their jobs. On the long run, i don't feel it would be worthwhile staying in US.
I know some of my friends who are back in Bangalore. One of them was working for NEC and he is now back with Wipro in Bangalore.
The schooling system is very good in bangalore. Especially CBSE schools such as National Public School, Indranagar, Kumarans, Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Mr. Hemant,
Aditi in sanskrit also means 'ellai illaadha'. You are correct that it is not 'aadi'.
