Hello,
I saw few old discussions on NAYAKA/NAIR/NAIKAR/NAYAKKAR.I am adding few points to that.
In karanataka specialy in CHITRADURGA/BELLARY/RAICHUR/MYSORE the dominated caste is NAYAKA.These are rulers previously after VIJAYANAGAR SAMSTHANA.There are many MPs And MLAs from this caste. The great personalities from this cast are MADAKARI NAYAKA of Chitradurga Samsthana. He won the war against Hyderali father of Tippu Sultan.Majority are Telugu speaking in Bellary,Raichur and Parts of Chitradurga region.
By thier culture and worshipping looks like all are migrated from ANDRA region.Still many families had roots in ANDRA region.
I well come if any body interested can continue this discussion specially John CS.
Thank you

Hey telugu fellow,
Read this book-If u like to know much about nayakas of Karnataka. There is no comparison between Harijanas and Nayakas. Nayakas are rulers-harijana are common people.
Nayakas have ruled the Karnataka and Andra for nearly 400 years. You can also see the coins, forts, books and other monuments.
May be ur mother had not taught history properly.
It's not your fault, It's her fault.
Read more books to update your knowledge.

Hello,
I did some reading about Krishnadevarya who was a great emperor, however after his demise and ultimate end of Vijayanagar, there is no information on the identity of Krishnadevaraya, Some state that he is telugu, but he spoke tulu as per documentation. I read a nice article which mentioned that he commes from the saliana bari of the Bellipadi family from the Bunt community of mangalore who speak tulu even now. Anyone has a fix on this as I plan on researching the bunt community to get a co relation.

Dear Friends,
In karnataka and Andhra Pradesh the NAYAKA community people are reigned for the decades and contributed much and enriched the status of the Indian culture. but here some of the friends worte very rubbish way to retailate their personel bad incident with the NAYAKA community. my free suggestion is to agree with fact and figures which are showing proudly to the Indian heritage.

Hello,
I would like to mention few points here regarding nayakas in karnataka and a recent elections.
2 MPs (N Y Hanumanthappa -Chitra Durga and Venkatesha Nayaka-Raichur) have won the elections in these two general constituencies. And the other majority MLAs from this community have also won from a general assesmbly constituencies.
One dynamic youth (in 30s) Balachandra jarakiholi defeated the Pradesh congress president (Who is a lingayat-so called dominant caste) V S Kaujalagi by a huge margin.
So never compare nayakas with any other castes,

Nayakas are always Nayakas (A BORN LEADERS)

where the hell did nayakas have ruled Andhra for 400 years. try to be realistic do not try and cook up stories. if you think that Krishna deva raya was a nayaka you are caught wrong you dumbo.
if you think that your mother have taught you everything right then my sincere sysmpathy is with you. give your mom good books and ask her to go through and lastly stop living in fools paradise Sujatha..........
