use IE browser and go to http://tamil.sify.com
one would find that there is no easy to click
a link to download the tamil font
like in http://sify.com/hindi/ ,
http://sify.com/news_info/hindi/hindi_fonts/index.php
there is no easy to click link for tamil fonts
with IE, as you wade through the tamil pages,
one could read the tamil text in some pages
but not in all ...
a case in point - http://tamil.sify.com/food/index.php
why can't sify.com use tscii fonts ?
tamil pages from sify.com do not appear
on netscape browser (v4.8)
if tscii fonts are used by tamil media,
then one can read tamil pages using any
browser with ease
this needs to be a high priority task
