What is kalapak kadhal ? what is the meaning of kalapam.

"KALAPAM" means "Thoagai"(§¾¡¨¸) in Thamizh. There is also another meaning as "Play" to mean in Thamizh 'Kulaavu"(ÌÄ¡×). There used to be a Drama in the ancient days in the name"Bhaama kalaapam" which depicts the Sathyabhaama-Krishna Leelas. This aspect of Lovers'-play is especially meant for Courtship play, for which out of all Non-Human creatures the PEACOCK is quite unique and noteworthy. That is the reason, this word can be seen in all our Indian Languages Literature as well as in the dialogues and songs.
