The fate of tamil in Tamilnadu

My increasing concern over the slow decay of tamil in Tamilnadu and the Tanglish culture.
While I find the tamilians living outside india still holding a pure and beautiful form of tamil culture, the attitude to tamil is almost dead.
We have seen the kazhaka kannmanigal shouting "Tamil Vallga ( not vazhga)" for the past 50 years there is not much happenig. What do you we think is a practical way of bringing back tamil?
A more practical approach to regenerate the 5000 years of history.
