I am a great fan of Kalki. I love his Ponniyin Selvan. Plesae share your thoughts about this wonderful book.

  i just finished Kalki's PS. I think it's a greatest novel in Tamil.I'd never read like this. i don't collect any books till now.But now i'm decided that the very first book in my collection is Ponnyin Selvan

  Just now around 20 mins back I completed reading Ponniyin Selvan for fourth time.This is to add some more info about Ponniyin Selvan. You people can read or download the complete novel from this website http://www.tamil.net/projectmadurai/pmfinish.html#dt0169.
  This is to keep you guys and gals informed that there is an active yahoo group ponniyinselvan@yahoogroups.com who even arrange trips to most of the historic places that appear in Ponniyin Selvan. Please join the group and visit their website, you can find the photos of many ancient places there.   i read Kalki's ponniyin selvan when i was in 8th grade.I just loved the novel which took me to the olden days.i fell in love with vanthiyathevan.This is a very good read.One thing i want to say is .....it is not for light readers....since so many names and you have to follow very keenly.Other books by Kalki (historical)Paathiban kanavu and Sivakamiyin sabatham are also very good.
