1)The Best. Prabhu Deva came into film industry as a dancer, then became an actor. I beleive he made an evolution on tamil movies dancing. None others could imitate him. Anyway, I'm not his fanatic fan.
2) Vijay.
3) kamal. I beleive he is more than 50years
old now. By age comparison he still good.

Kamal Haasan is the best dancer from Tamil Nadu. Watch Kamal's movies in the 70's and early 80's (when he was in his 20's & 30's). No one could compete with him till date as he made dancing look ridiculously easy thanks to his naturally gifted reflexes. Now he is 50 yrs old & for his age he is still the best. I don't think any hero who touches 50 yrs can stll dance like Kamal. I liked his dancing in Thenali. Jothika commented in the sets that she was having a hard time competing with Kamal in dancing.
Best Dancers: Kamal Haasan, Prabhu Deva, Vijay (recently for 3-4 yrs)
Worst Dancers: Vijayakanth, Ramarajan, Ajith.
Just-for-style Dancers: Rajini, Vikram, MGR
But the best ever male dancer from Tamil Nadu of all eras (1940's till date): Kamal Haasan.
Kamal can do any kinda dancing with aplomb (Disco, Ballet or Bharat Natyam)
