Baba's shooting started on 24 March 2002. From there on the expectation for this film has went up so high. With just 2 photos of Babab and no news about Baba film news even can break all the records. That is amazing. It was expected to gain about Rs100,000,0000. No one in India had acieved this success with a great silence (Rajini).

  It will go down when film gets released. BABA is just a hype, people will def. get disappointed and the mag. which write abt. BaBa will make fun of the film.

  "BABA" is the most expectation movie by his fans and non fans in all around the world. Eventhough there are some funny things in this movie, people will accept because all done by super star not by other hero. That is the point here. Not today or yesterday we were watching these funny things in his movies but from the day one we were watching it. Of course the funny things are not logic but people are enjoying it.

  When they do show Baba movie in Tamil Nadu finally, I'll need to turn up at least 1 hour early. I missed watching Padayappa on big screen, but from wat I heard, despite 4 shows, people were sitting on the floor, on the aisles, standing at the back and spilled all over the theatre. Even MR's nor Kamal's movies get tat sort of crowd despite having only 2 shows. The only other movie tat drew tat much crowd was Jeans. Interesting how Rajini maintains such hi popularity despite his full-on masala movies wit simplistic storylines. Another interesting thing is tat after Kamal's Aalavandhan, they have stopped showing any kamal movies on big screen here.
  Wit the 3 year wait and the accelerating population growth of Indians here, they'll probably need 8 shows to maintain a decent seating arrangement for Baba.

  The negative comments keep coming about rajni.I dont mind if u pass negative comments about Latha b'coz she interferes a lot in rajni's works.All this has happened only after Padayappa b'coz rajni relented and let Latha and her relatives interfere.
  
  
  About the school, he has let latha run it in a particular way and has not interfered in her work much.This doesnt mean that he doesnt help poor students.In an interview with Sun News during Daya Foundation Latha had said that " We are always surrounded by children.We finance many poor students".She never said that these students studied in her school.These students may be studying in other schools but what is important is that they are helping poor students.Financing doesnt just mean buying the students books and bags.They must be paying the fees also.
  
  I would like to refer you to another incident.Recently in an interview lawrence has said that he owes a lot to rajni.He was washing cars at a stunt masters place.It was rajni who paid his fees and made him join the dancers' union.Lawrence came to know only after he joined the union that it was rajni who paid his fees.Now he is a dance master turned actor.He has succeeded to a certain extent.All this happened long time ago.At that time rajni wasnt knowing that Lawrence would become an actor and thank him in an interview.He helped him b'coz he was poor.We came to know about this only b'coz lawrence said this in an interview.There may be many more incidents like this.Not everyone tells about such things to the media.
  
  One more incident,Kumudam had mentioned about a guy called Madurai.He was a supplier in the unit.He was close to rajni b'coz that person used to buy him tickets and supply to rajni personally.They were good friends at that time.Madurai used to work in Karnataka.So they didnt meet for a long time as rajni was busy in tamil.Recently,he had said in an interview that he needed some money for his son's education and the only person he is approaching for help is rajni.He said " I am sure sir would give me some money for my son's education.I have no one else in my mind".A guy who didnt meet rajni for a decade remembered him when he needed his help .
  
  I dont say rajni is the greates human being on earth.He is definitely better than the other actors and politicians.I will not change my mind till the end.Even MGR for that matter has never given his own money to the poor if reports are to be believed.He helped the poor only after becoming a CM.
  
  
  
  
  Rajni has always stayed out of all the problems in the Tamil film industry.It is b'coz he doesnt like to hurt anybody.There was a fight betwn FEFSI and the producer's group.Now, imagine rajni always supports the poor.We all have the poor.He does it in his movies.He has done so many good deeds and we all know he is the humblest and the simplest of all actors.So he couldnt have supported the Producer's group.At the same time rajni owes alot to his Guru K.Balachander who was the leader of the Producer's group.It is b'coz of this old man that rajni is known to the millions of tamil.There were other producers and directors like Barathiraja whom he respects a lot and owes a lot.So he couldn't have supported FEFSI.The best thing he could have done without hurting anybody is staying out which he did.Why should each and every person insert the nose in a problem.It is good for some people to stay out.If there is a fight betwn ur mother and ur father whose side would u take???????.A wise man would stay out.Rajni is a wise man.
  
  After seeing the political vendattas of Jaya and Karunanidhi,rajni may have changed his mind and decided to stay out.The reason being the good he has been doing for so many years should not be abolished in a year or two.Political parties keep spoiling the life of the people to take revenge against the ruling government.Now, jaya is ruling.I see so many news of theft and murder everyday in sun news but not on jaya news.Since they are showing on sun news it has to be true.But who knows who has done it.There are rumours that DMK is behind all this to defame the Ruling party.Both the governments are equally corrupted i have no doubt whatsoever.These parties are there for the past 25-30 years.To come up with anew strong party it is definitely going to take time.It isnt a easy job either.There are bound to be series of hurdles .There will be plots by both the party to keep rajni out of politics.If they decide to ruin him before he comes to power who will be the losers and sufferers.The poor people and rajni fans.Rajni doesnt want his fans to be in trouble just b'coz he wants to come to power.The second point is that rajni is definitely short of confidence as he has not championed any fight till now in life except the 1996 assembly elections.But what happened after that the people of tamilnadu lined up and voted for Jaya in the 2001 elections.So he is just short of confidence.
  
  
  Politics is a ditch.A good man cannot get down and clean it without being affected by a disease.His attitude always has been to help the people of Tamilnadu somehow.He doesnt want to do anything in haste.So he is taking his time to gather his thoughts and decide how to proceed further.He has realised that he is not a capable leader or he doesnt have leadership qualities.
  In management we are taught that there should be no emotions in Business .Same applies to politics.Since he is emotional and kind hearted he feels he is not a capable leader or he doesnt have leadership qualities.
  
  Some people say he is a battle shy hero.I dont agree with this.If he was a battle shy hero he wouldnt have hit so many people when he had a nervous disorder in the late 80's.
  Which actor has fought so many fights in real life?????If he was a battle shy hero he wouldnt have fought against the then ruling Jaya government in 1996 elections.He had started the combat in 1995 itself after the success of Batsha.So one cannot call him a battle shy hero.
  
  I know it looks as if he has let down the people of tamilnadu by keeping out of politics.I would have been angry with him had he not taken any steps to help them out.But he definitely has taken the initial steps.He has started supporting P.Chidambaram .He is the best politician today in India.He is well educated ,brilliant,very honest.He is being praised by Indians for his wonderful scheme VDIS which he declared when he was a FM.The scheme brought out 10000 crores of black money out.No FM had the brain or the guts to do this in the past.
  
  P.chidambaram a year back came with his new party.Rajni has started supporting his party.Chidambaram himself has acknowledged that most of the people who attend his party campaigns
  are rajni fans.Rajni has not ruled out his possibilty of coming to the politics even after continuous pressure from the media to annnounce his future plans.At the same time he has not said like Vijayakant thru someone that he would be the CM for the next 9 years.He has decided to enter active politics and support a capable leader like chidambaram who can work out miracles.He has given indications of that.He has decided to clean the ditch with the help of an expert like P.Chidambaram so that he wont be affected by any disease.
  
  
  Why should he jump in a haste ,make more blunders,add to the problems of people and jump out?
  It is better to think and act which he is doing.He is maturing as a politician.I have decided i will not call him a Thalaivar.I am ready to call him a superstar,No.1 actor or any other name for that matter but not thalaivar.I will only call him a Thalaivar when he becomes either a party leader or a CM.I know some people will feel bad abt this but the meaning of a Thalaivar is different.
