  There were people like chandrababu(Mani Oasai..etc),MR Radha and others who dared to go for cahllenges.. A few today like Karthik(Mounaragam, Varusham 16,gokulathil Seethai etc)
  and Vikram(Sethu,and the expected Kasi...)
  And your order was not acceptable... MGR was a politician he used movies and hence the people..
  You better remove him form the list of actors.. However his role in entertaim=ning people is always there..
