  I am a BE comp sci grad from Anna Univ. I am a sofware professional and a die hard fan of movies.I appreciate maniratnams movies a lot, especially the way power , glory , emotions are portrayed in his movies. Anyone who has watched ayutha ezhuthu would have noticed a potpourri of the above. He is one director who has full control over the movie he is making(much in the likes of great hollywood directors). Dil se and bombay were a risky subject with a mix of love and violence which mani sir has knitted wonderfully. I would really like to discuss about his movies .   No one knows what director MANIRATHNAM was before. the effort he had ,the pain to come up. we all look for success and run behind people who are successful.MANIRATHNAM has proved ,only MANI knows he can. Friends if you want to be a filmmaker, stop asking for chance and pickup a camera. Any camera. click still kind from the supermarket. Go and shoot a story about the beggar on the street ,a dog ,your dying house plant…whatever ! go do it now !you can definitely become a MANI or a illayaraja. you will be so confident that you can work with MANI.
