well Vijay, Ajith, Prashanth r the top young heroes of tamil cinema.
But however they r not at all known outside Tamil Nadu! whereas PRABHU DEVA though not successful in Tamil is famous allover India. Many a times he could be seen on hindi tv channels!
He is so popular among the Bollywood film stars (particularly heroines-Madhuri, Kajol,Shipashetty, Raveena,Sonali). i.e in Bombay. North Indian people could recognise him just as someone from Bombay...
only KAMAL HASSAN n RAJINIKANTH r the other tamil heroes popular in North.
when will our other heroes join them?

Yes, he is well-respected in the North. That's because of his dancing. The choreographers do not only choreograph for the tamil films but also other fields such as Telugu, Hindi and etc.
As a result, P.Deva is also invited to contests to be a judge.
However, this monkey, disgraces Tamilians by going
to a high class function with 'pattai' on his forehead!
Why can't they dress presentably????

mr citizen,
what the heck is wrong going to a function with pattai on head, if people from other religions can have their faces covered, have only beards & not mouctaches just coz of theer religion, never take off that stinking cloth wound around their head 24 hrs a day, I could go on & on...
and u call having pattai as a disgrace?
Dumb goose, realize that every man has the right to follow his or her owen culture..and a pattai on the forehead is in no way more disgraceful than those mentioned above.
Pattai reminds people of tradition, discipline, god, all good things, irrespective of whether the person having it is really good or bad, that's a different issue.
so think before u speak dumb soul!

well..I've got this to say. Prabu Deva is a good dancer and a decent actor. Whether he wears pattai or not does not reflect or affect his abilities. In fact, wearing pattai is in no way degrading and I think it only enhances the positive perception of that person.
