My first choice for the James Bond role goes to Dhanush.

Second choice is simbhu.

Imagine in your mind Dhanush or Simbhu wearing a tuxedo and sporting a 007 type gun and compare the image with idiots like sean connery or pierce brosnan. Dhanush easily beats them in the looks dept and simbhu comes in a close second.

  Dhanush as a 007 would be cool. What would be even great is to make SS Chandran as Mr. Q; And how about Shakeela to make as a Bond Girl. She has a super structure and she also has that unique sex appeal that of Bond Girls. In fact, we can give an item number for thoppai Kiran too. Wow! I cant wait to watch that movie!!

  1st off both sean connery and pierce brosnan are great actors in their respective languages, why would you deny that??? You only have to watch The Rock or Finding Forrester to know what a great actor Connery is and the Thomas Crown Affair for Brosnan.
  
  I like Dhanush but I'm sorry, he's tooo scrawny to be James Bond. Besides to be bond you need a certain (sexy) charm and finesse. Dhanush is better for a comedic role. My choice for a tamil bond would either be Vijay or Surya. They both have charm and the build for it.

  basicalli, james bond is over-exagerrated in itself, what with the one man saving the world thing. So transferring something so fake onto tamil cinema would be like watching lord of the rings.if a tamil actor were 2 play bond, itd hav to be sum1 young and sexy. no doubt if it were to happen, Rajini wud win the role and cum up with his pathetic one liners and stupid fake moves.

  Would be an insult to see James Bond running around singing tamil songs instead of catching the bad guyz. Let the James Bond be James Bond and SIMBU and DANUSH be themselves cross dressing does not give good result. Do go to the levels of Sean Connery is something imaginary.
