  Too put it simply, wat happens in the movie happens outside in the real world.so wat has been depicted is a real situation adapted to a movie.so dont complain.

  The Hindu gave a review in it's Friday Review without hinting much on the vulgarity,the review was more or less praising the movie,but the very next week,they have published letters from the readers condemning the movie and commenting on their review.Even in the review of 'Naam' they subtly degraded shankar's BOYS.

  Movie is good.Few dialogues are vulgar..but the rest of the movie is real cool...Photography is excellent.

  well, i think boyz is a great movie as a teen here i view this movie from my point of view it is simply superb,why r u guyz only looking at the negative side of the movie,why dont u see the positive side where when they suffer after doing mistakes such as calling the pro then harini finds out about then their best friend dies juzt bcos to prove his friend is correct...(PLS CHANGE YOUR INDIAN MENTALITY)

  me as a teen...i enjoyed the movie...i think the story,cast,songs,and the boys acting was superb...while there is so many good points of the movie..u ppl always look at the bad point....how sad...and pls don't insult shanker...he did a gr8 job and spent so much money on it...appreciate it!

  everybody is so hypocritical! if a nagesh kukunoor could take "rockford" which was abt masturbation and wot not..ppl could accept it as a "real" movie but if shanker a "commercial" directer takes a "teen genre" movie..everything is condemned! and in the movie the whole prostitute situation is exagerated ..ok so they did something illegal..but hey who dosent experiment these days?! and nothing was vulgar or lewd they were jus speaking like todays youth ..shanker ahs captured the brackets of social strata and their mindset VERY well..kudos to him for making a bold film..but the only sad thing was the ending...!it should have been shot more cleaverly..

  i feel shankar has gone mad. i would never expect a director of that caliber to make that kind of a film. i feel he is on the verge of his downfall.
