Lately for the past year vijay has only been acting in masala movies, id he not capable of giving goo dmovies with good messages? Or just good movies like kaaka kaaka, Autograph, etc, etc.

  You are right, Vijay is not a very versatile actor like Vikaram, Surya, Ajit.... He is more a Masala actor

  TT and Giri,
  good movies with good messages are movies like Aitha Ezhuthu, Perazhagan (I think it kind of encouraged people who are phisically challenged to be confident) Virumaandi. He doesn't have to act in that kind of movies. But atleast in good movies like Kaaka Kaaka, Autograph, Pithamagan that have a good story and screenplay.

  Thirumalai,
  Ghilli,
  Madhurey,
  Thirupachi (pakka masala just like the others). None of these roles really demand much acting. All of them are just masalas.

  Come on Giri, please don't give this crap! U can certainly do better than this. A hero is the one who goes for story discussion and agrees to act on a movie based on the script. Also, it is well known in Kollywood that normally Vijay tends to dominate his directors and interfere with the screen-play unlike other heroes. The only other hero who does like this is Kamal. But Kamal interfere with directors to give good movies but Vijay interferes with directors to give crappy movies.

  I haven't seen Madurey yet but after hearing bad reviews from some of my friends, I get a feeling that Madurey is yet another attempt from Vijay to quench his ever egoistic thirsts. May be Director Madhesh is not upto the mark of Dharani. Normally Vijay tends to interfere with screen-play and dominate his directors. But don't know what happened to poor guy director Madhesh who makes his directional debut!
  
  Normally, Vijay's movies becomes box-office hit only if they are remade from Telugu blockbuster movies. So, Vijay - what is the next Telugu blockbuster that you are going to remake in Tamil?

  Kavitha, i am not sure that a hero can have the full influence on the story? The producer or the director makes the movie to suit the Hero. May be you are more into the movie industry to know in-depth details.

  I met Vijay and like his acting. Vijay used to give quality movies like "Thullatha Manamum," "Poove Unakkagaa", and "Kadhalukku Mariyathey." He established himself with these classicals hits. Nowadays, he does masala movies because that's what directors approach him with. He's also a very sensible guy because he knows that "experimenting" sometimes can make the producers lose money, and he doesn't want them too.
  He is going to become a producer now and according to a galatta and many other reports, now he's going to change back to love stories. But just a fact to keep in mind, he is rated the #2 popular star after Rajini and is a safe bet at the box office. Vijay is on a roll now!
