Kamalhaasan's experiment with truth Hey ram has
been nominated at next year British Academy Film
Awards.60 movies worldwide are in the race for
various awards in various sections.Only 5 asian
movies are nominated of which a korean movie,
a japanese movie,2 arab movies and 1 indian movie
Hey Ram.
This is Kamal's 3rd movie at the awards the first
being Swami Mutyum,Nayakan and now Hey Ram

  Only Mr kamal hassan can bring tamil movie cinema
  into international level. I hope more glory will spur to the legand. I'm a great fans of MR kamal hassan. It's believal that those awards are nominated for HEYRAM. Hopefully the legend mega budget movie will be awarded OSCAR

  i am a member of the british film institute and will get confirmation of the dates 'hey ram' will be showing at the film festival in november. sad thing is that as usual te film will be cut to pieces ie.. songs cut out. when they showed 'bombay' it was a 100 minute version and i walked out(i got my money back on principle).

  the films for this years BRITISH FILM FESTIVAL ha s just been released today (21.9.00). i'm sad/angry/sorry to see that HEY RAM has not been included from India.
  from India the films selected are
  'uttara'(the wrestelrs Bengali)
  'bavander'(sandstorm hindi?)
  'kairee' (raw mango marathi)
  'karunyam' (pathos malayalam)
  'bariwali' (lady of the house bengali)
  'kandukonden kandukonden' (i have found it tamil)
